Today, we had TOFLE tests in the morning, then we went to Manhattan to watch the musical HAIRSPRAY. I haven't see it before so I was looking forward to go. We saw the Phantom of the Opera last year which was little dark and its story was quite complicated for me. However, at this time, I think HAIRSPRAY was good to see for the young or foreigners who don't understand English well. This musical complains of the racial discrimination, so it was good opportunity to think these issues. This is because we Japanese are not familiar with this kind of problems.

I think you could have written a longer blog. There are many more details that you could have told me about "Hairspray." What was the story? Characters? Setting? Conflict? Climax? Theme? What were the songs like? Was there dancing? You could have told me about all these things and that would have made your blog a lot more interesting. Next time, please try putting lots of details into your blog.
